Hills Land Care and Gardens was founded on a simple philosophy: to provide premium quality garden maintenance while enhancing the local ecosystem.

With a over a decade of land management experience, our foundation is built on formal training and applied understanding. We provide quailty gardening services combined with the science behind thriving landscapes.

Being local to the Dandenong Ranges, we understand the unique challenges of the local terrain, from managing steep blocks to protecting the native flora.

 

Whether you need lawn mowing and care, tree pruning or a weed eradication strategy, we cover all aspects of garden maintenance with the environment in mind.

Who Are We?

We are dedicated to the art of native gardening in the Dandenong Ranges, blending professional expertise with a genuine passion for the local landscape.

Clare (Owner)

Clare is the founder and owner of Hills Land Care and Gardens. Her journey working with the outdoors began in 2014 in the agricultural industry, later transitioning into organic farming. It was here that she developed a deep respect for land preservation. This led her to pursue a career working with plants. After gaining hands-on experience in gardening and volunteering in the conservation field, she undertook further study to gain specialist knowledge and understanding of the ecosystem. Today, she channels that expertise into her passion - protecting and nurturing the unique biodiversity of the Dandenong Ranges. 

Industry Qualifications

  • Diploma of Forest Conservation and Ecosystem Management

  • Certificate IV in Horticulture

Operational & Safety Tickets 

  • White Card:  Construction site safety induction certification. 

  • First Aid Certificate:  Valid first aid qualification for workplace safety. 

  • Working with Children Check:  Cleared for operations around public infrastructure, commercial property and schools. 

  • NDIS Worker Screening Cleared:  Fully verified with national police and background checks to safely work with NDIS participants. 
     

Specialised Machinery & Land Management 

  • Chemical Users Permit:  Certified for safe, targeted weed control and herbicide application. 

  • Chainsaw Operations:  Statement of Attainment for safe tree and branch management. 

  • 4WD Operations:  Statement of Attainment ensuring safe access to steep or difficult terrain. 
     

Business Protection 

  • Business Liability Insurance:  Fully insured to protect your property and assets.
